You need the SSH credentials you've been provided by your hosting service provider.
For OVH, it looks something like ssh.cluster***.ovh.net.
The password was sent to you via email.
To access your website, you can use putty (https://www.putty.org/)
In Putty:
Install composer in your website root folder, using the next command:
curl -sS https://getcomposer.org/installer | php
After that you can browse in your hosting using ls for listing and cd to browse
Go to the folder of the installation you wish to update (wwwexamplesite/) and run ../composer.phar update
